Christ the Answer Prison Ministry

Bro. Ron Papa – Missionary to the Incarcerated – Preaching, Teaching, Bible Studies, and Cell to Cell Mentoring

Pastor & Brethren,

As I write this letter to my faithful friends in Christ, who pray and support me, I reflected on the end of the year and what to say to you in this last support letter for 2016.  I thought of the word “END” it is found 151 times in the Bible. May these 3 verses with the word “END” be a blessing to you.

1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Heb 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

1 Peter 1:8-9 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

By God’s grace and His loving kindness I can reflect on what He has allowed me to do this year amongst the incarcerated, at my home church, (Wild Peach Baptist Church), and amongst the multitude of prisons. I am blessed to have many Christians praying for me and 5 churches supporting me.

Many people may question whether there are results in the prisons? When the Word of God is preached, there is without a doubt there are results, His Word is as a two edged sword. And with God being my beginning and end, I need not worry.  At the last Sunday of 2016, I preached at the Wayne Scott Unit in Angleton, TX. (142 in attendance) I attended a portion of a weeklong conference at Faith Baptist Church in Freeport, TX. With Evangelist Wayne Hudson preaching. What a blessing that was.

I thank you all for your vision in supporting Christ the Answer Prison Ministry with your   prayers, encouragement, and financial support. In the months of November & December, 11 men made professions of faith. Again, thank you for your prayers and support. There is so much that could be testified to concerning God’s blessings on this ministry in 2016. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16b.  I submit to my prayer and support partners a total report for the ministry endeavors in the 2016 year.

  • 9,225 Inmates visited
  • 91 Souls saved
  • 6,484 Tracts, Bibles, and literature distributed
  • 8,803 Miles driven
  • Multiples of men met at the altar

A Thought To Ponder: “For surely there is AN END; and thy expectation shall not be cut off” Proverbs 23:18

Prayer Requests:

1)            Partner with me in prayer for a great movement within the prisons for 2017.

2)            Partner with me in prayer for health & strength as I am reaching 78 years old. (Thank you Jesus)

3)            Partner with me in prayer for spiritual wisdom and understanding as I deal with various non-christian beliefs.
